About the book
A work of literary criticism that argues all storytelling is structured around seven archetypal plots, from 'Overcoming the Monster' to 'Tragedy'. It draws on Jungian psychology and a vast range of examples from ancient myths to modern cinema to explore why these patterns recur and what they reveal about human nature.
